Operational Workflow:

Ipad: Larger screens enable more effective photo collection and viewing. Different models support resolutions such as:

<li>Ipad 2 and earlier: 1024x768 pixels</li>

Using an iPad Air, photos can be reduced to resolutions up to 2048x1536 pixels with minimal visual impact on image quality.

Digitally sourced images from external cameras benefit significantly from compression. High-resolution photos up to 15 MB per image can be reduced below 1 MB without noticeable loss of display quality—for instance, compressing a 5 MB image (5184x3460 pixels) down to approximately 1024x700 pixels results in more than four gigabytes of storage savings across a thousand images.

If there are concerns about image quality loss during compression, users can preview a sample image before proceeding. Our tests indicate that reducing resolution to around 1024x768 pixels on devices such as the iPad 2 does not compromise visual clarity, even on HD-ready televisions (which typically display at this resolution). For viewing on Full HD screens, downsizing up to approximately 1920x1080 pixels maintains excellent fidelity.
